Hiring Equipment
We rent equipment to industry professionals such as Sound Engineers, DJs and event organizers. We only rent equipment on a dry hire basis where the hirer is experienced and qualified to operate the equipment and do not provide support or training unless there is a technical issue or fault with the equipment you have hired. We provide a full range of audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment, including speakers, microphones, projectors, LED walls, mixing desks, TVs and DJ equipment. Check out our full range here.
You can book equipment hire for between 1 and 28 days on our website. Please contact us for longer hire periods.
Yes. When your hire is booked we will send you a link to verify your ID and provide proof of address. Please make sure you bring your ID with you if collecting from us.
We use a third party ID verification service to protect our high value assets from theft and damage. We may require a deposit if we cannot verify your identity digitally, or if you’re hiring very high value equipment for the first time.
Delivery & Collection
Yes. We can deliver our equipment straight to your event on the day your hire starts, and collect it when your event is over.
Yes. We’re located in Brent Cross, London – right next to the start of the M1. Our warehouse is within a 30 minute drive of Heathrow and Central London. For more details please see Find Us.
Our standard opening times are Monday – Friday 10am – 8pm. We can arrange collection/drop off outside of these times and on weekends with prior notice. Please note that out of hours charges may apply.
We can deliver to most places in England and Wales subject to driver availability. Delivery and mileage fees may apply, you can calculate the cost of Delivery and Pick up on the checkout page.
We can at an additional cost, provided there is someone on site experienced enough to operate the equipment when it’s set up. We also offer full event production services where we provide and operate all the AV for your event. Visit Moventra Events for more information.
Ordering & Payment
Yes. We accept payment by Debit/Credit card right here on our website.
Yes. Simply select this option on checkout and we will send you our bank details
No. For security and Anti Money Laundering purposes we do not accept cash.
When you submit an order on our website we will check product availability and confirm your order. If any equipment in your order is unavailable we will contact you to suggest similar alternatives that we do have available during your hire dates.
No. When you submit an order we will need to check availability for the equipment you have requested to hire. Most of the time we have what you need available and will quickly confirm your hire and take payment. If something is unavailable we will contact you to discuss alternative equipment.
Insurance & Risk
Yes. You are responsible for any loss or damage to equipment you have hired from us. We recommend taking out insurance with a third party provider to cover any equipment hired from us.
It is important that you return the equipment on the date and time agreed, as other customers may have hired this equipment straight after your hire ends. Please contact us if you need to extend or change your hire period and we will try and accommodate this. Late fees will apply if your hire has not been extended and equipment is returned late.
We do not currently offer this service, however we may be able to offer advice on third party Insurance services that may be available to you.
Safety & Support
Yes. Our equipment is PAT tested and inspected annually and all our equipment will be supplied with up to date PAT certification stickers.
Yes we can. Please call or email us and we will forward this over to you.
Moventra Hire is our low cost equipment dry hire service for other industry professionals. We can provide basic technical support for our products but we would expect you to have a suitably experienced person at your event to operate the equipment. Please contact us in advance if you are looking to take any of our equipment outside of the UK. Please note that some of our equipment is fitted with tracking devices which will alert us if it leaves the UK. We offer Touring Production through Moventra Touring and can provide a fully managed solution for tours including equipment, engineers, logistics and all relevant carnets required for taking our equipment outside of the UK.
Yes. We sell a range of AV equipment at competitive prices. We will be launching an online sales store towards the end of 2025, you’re welcome to get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.
